Working at Heights in Orangeville

September 24 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

  Effective April 1, 2015, the Ministry of Labour now requires that all employers ensure that their workers complete an approved working at heights training program before they can work at heights. This training program will help prepare participants to: 1) Explain their rights and responsibilities when working at heights, 2) Work at heights safely and in compliance with all required regulations, and 3) Select, inspect, and use industry-standard personal fall arrest equipment, including a harness and lanyard.

Working at Heights Refresher in Fergus

September 30 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

  Working at Heights Refresher Training is the practical module of the Working at Heights Training Program (section 9.2 of the Working at Heights Training Program Standard). The minimum duration of the refresher training is three and- a-half (3.5) hours of training delivery.

Emergency First Aid in Hanover

October 6 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

One day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS Regulations for Basic First Aid.

Forklift in Hanover

October 7 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

  The Forklift Training course provides workers with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to remain safe while operating a lift truck on construction sites, in warehouses, and in manufacturing plants. Training meets CSA Safety Standard B335-15.

Standard First Aid in Fergus

October 8 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Note: this is a 2 day course for October 8th & 9th  Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and CPR skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Meets WSIB requirements.  

Forklift Training in Fergus

October 14 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Hunter Safety with Bill Foell

October 16 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Note: This is a two-day event. Oct 16th - 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Oct 17th - 8:00am to 2:00pm.  *Hours depending on if the participant has their PAL or not. Ontario has been a leader in the area of hunter training for many decades, and this has led to a huge reduction in the number of hunting safety incidents annually. Chainsaw Safety Level 2 in Fergus

October 23 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Note: This is a 2 day course held on October 23rd and October 24th, 2020! Learn about handling a chainsaw safely with the certified arborist Todd Fritzley of BPF Safety & Consulting. With both classroom and hands-on practical portions to the course, you will be provided with all personal protective equipment necessary to complete the course, with the exception of safety shoes. Refreshments are provided, but bring your lunch and prepare for a fun, safe informative day.
